On the Road: Ellie and Sass

byMolly Curtis | November 7, 2018

The interior of the salon is decorated in calming white and neutral tones.

Flooded with natural light, Ellie and Sass has a clean, minimalist aesthetic with rustic accents.

I opted for the “All In” manicure from nail tech Kat Hassan. It included an exfoliating sugar scrub, moisturizing mask, massage, and gel-polish.

The chic salon is a tranquil getaway just off of busy Venice Boulevard.

The outdoor patio offers a place for clients to relax or do some work, and free Wi-Fi is provided. The space is also used for special events such as parties and movie nights.

Owners Sarah Sluder and Elizabeth Hendrickson designed the entire interior, down to the adorable planters on the retail shelves.

Behind the check-in desk is a separate area for facial treatments.
