OPI for Jeremy Scott

OPI for Jeremy Scott

OPI nail leads Miss Pop and Alicia Torello opted for nail art and bold color at these Spring/Summer 2017 shows.

Large, playful dots accented nails at Jeremy Scott. To get the look, start with a base coat. Select either OPI Nail Lacquer in I Just Can't Cope-Acabana, OPI Nail Lacquer in That’s Berry Daring, OPI Infinite Shine Nail Lacquer in We’re In The Black, OPI Nail Lacquer in Red My Fortune Cookie, or OPI Infinite Shine Nail Lacquer in Wild Blue Yonder to create the base for the look. Next, select a contrasting color for the dot in the center of the nail. Pour out a little lacquer onto a piece of tin foil. Dip a dotting tool into the polish and then lightly dab it onto the bottom of the nail. Seal with top coat.

Alicia Torello played with geometry at Creatures of Comfort. Prep the natural nail. Then create a multi-colored French manicure alternating OPI Nail Lacquer in Eurso Euro, OPI Nail Lacquer in Stay Off The Lawn, OPI Infinite Shine Nail Lacquer in Unequivocally Crimson, OPI Nail Lacquer in My Twin Mimmy, and OPI Nail Lacquer in Charged Up Cherry on each finger. Seal with top coat. Add a gold triangle decal at the base of the nail to complete the design.

Mini Masterpiece Nail Art 2019: Urban Drama

by Katherine Fleming

Congratulations to Jodie Rahaley, who took the top spot in this year’s Mini Masterpiece nail art contest after entering the two previous years. Her detailed, contrasting rendition of “Urban Expressions” by Michael Lang impressed the judges. Other beautiful entries ranged from the ever-popular Vermeer to Dali and Basquiat.
