Hedren was joined onstage by friends, her daughter Melanie Griffith, legendary Vietnamese actress Kieu Chinh, whom Hedren also aided after the war, Thuan Le, one of the first Vietnamese manicurists (far right), and Dusty, the amazing nail tech who flew into Hope Village to initially teach the “Original 20” women how to do nails.

Thuan Le (center) had not seen Dusty Butera (right) in 40 years since Butera taught Le how to do nails. They are joined by Butera's daughter, Robin Janashak, who was also in the nail industry for over 20 years.

On October 8th, Bellacures Brentwood and OPI Products honored Hollywood icon Tippi Hedren for her humanitarian efforts in aiding Vietnamese refugees after the Vietnam War and in developing the nail industry.
