The Bellus Academy campuses in California and Kansas showed their survivor spirit on Tuesday, June 2, as they provided complimentary lilac polishes to cancer fighters, survivors, caretakers, and friends. The pampering and polish – referred to by the team as “Survivor Lilac” – was provided in honor of Cancer Survivor Beauty and Support Day.

The Bellus Academy offers a nail technology program in Manhattan, Kan., and a Spa Nail Technician program at their National City, Calif., location. Both nail tech programs use professional products such as CND and Minx, and students are taught the most advanced techniques in the nail industry. Curriculum includes basic to advanced manicures and pedicures, nail enhancements with liquid and powder, UV gel, nail art, and many other advanced skills traditionally only offered at advanced workshops, such as spa nail protocols, aromatherapy, Shellac gel-polish enhancements, hot stone, paraffin, and reflexology treatments for both the hands and feet.
