Rather than leaving bottles of polish and gel-polish out for clients to open and mess with, Victoria Pavia, owner of Two Brown Eyed Girls in Los Angeles came up with a cleaner way to display color selections. Every color is swatched on a single nail tip, then added to a ring. Each color is assigned a number that is found on the plastic base of the tip. Brands are grouped together on a single ring then hung on knobs. Labels hang above each knob to specify which brand is which. These rings are displayed  at the front of the salon against a white wall, so they really pop. Pavia felt this was a sanitary and contemporary way to help clients choose their color. They simply go over to the wall or their nail tech shows them a ring. Techs know which polish to grab from the back by matching up the numbers on the base.
