I appreciate all the loyalty of my clients these past 15 years, so I make sure each receives a small gift at the holidays. Periodically I send out cards noting my appreciation or might mix up some sugar scrub with their favorite scent as a little “just because” surprise.

I usually mail out coupons for the holidays. Sometimes if I feel like I had a great visit with my client, I simply send a thank you card in the mail right after she leaves expressing my appreciation and adding a $5 off coupon for the next visit. This way we continue our close relationship and she knows how much I care.

I have a referral system for my clients as a thank you for their continued service. They can choose to either have their nails done at half price or get a free pedicure.

We have the giveaways, coupons, raffles, and referral discounts. But nothing says “thank you for coming here” better than treating each and every customer in a way that makes them feel they are the most important customer you have. Being on time for their appointment, listening to their needs and preferences, providing superb service every single time without rushing or being sloppy, consistently offering a clean, inviting, professional environment, and making sure they know we care about them as people and not just as dollar signs.

I show my clients I am thankful for them by giving them free nail art on their birthdays, if they have to wait, or if I need them to switch an appointment. My clients are good to me as well!

All my clients receive a free service for their birthday. There’s also a chance to win gifts by doing a drawing at least twice a year, usually around Thanksgiving or Christmas. I send them text messages and post on my business page simply expressing my gratitude.
