Recently American International Industries (A.I.I.) offered its time and services to participate in two events that support a cause dear to the heart of the company: women battling cancer.

At the Sonya Dakar Skin Clinic in Beverly Hills in April, A.I.I participated in the Wish Upon A Teen Mother/Daughter Spa Event by providing manicures. The guests — young ladies from the Mattel Children’s Hospital at UCLA who are battling cancer — brought their mothers or grandmothers to enjoy a day of pampering. Representing A.I.I. from Bliss Spa in Los Angeles, manicurists Sreynin Peng and Tina Nguyen provided hand massages before applying a China Glaze lacquer of the girls’ choice and adding a touch of glam with an It’s So Easy rhinestone accent nail. Gift bags included an ibd file and buffer, Body Drench lotion, Seche Base, and Seche Vite dry fast top coat.

In May, for the eighth consecutive year, A.I.I. employees came together with their friends, family members, and nearly 30,000 other participants at the 20th annual Entertainment Industry Foundation Revlon Run/Walk for Women in Exposition Park in Los Angeles. The event aims to increase awareness, educate, and assist in funding research efforts and treatment services for women battling cancer. Under the team names “Team China Glaze” and “Team Ardell Cosmetics,” and sponsored by executive vice president Terri Cooper, A.I.I. participants ran and walked proudly in the 5K race.
