Leaving the event with laughter and smiles.
Premiere Orlando has been the selected destination for BeautyTech.com members to meet in person for the last 12 or so years. It all started back in the late 1990s when techs from the BeautyTech.com forums would get together for breakfast so they could meet each other face-to-face after having only chatted online. Webmaster Debbie Doerrlamm officially took the event over in 2004. It quickly became a destination networking event, morphing from a breakfast on the first day of the show to a more leisurely barbeque the day before the show started.
Several years ago, NAILS got involved and together we've turned the NailTech Networking Orlando Social into an annual destination for newbie and veteran techs alike. Held this year at the Rosen Centre, nearly 300 nail industry members got together on Saturday, June 1 to catch up with old friends, meet new friends, and watch live demos at tables hosted by manufacturers Artistic Nail Design, ENP Nail Products, EZ Flow, Gelish, IBD, INM, Kupa, Morgan Taylor, and Orly.
Representing 27 states and eight countries, the nail techs in attendance were lucky enough to win more than 45 raffle giveaways totalling more than $5,000 in product prizes from top manufacturers. In addition, NAILS gave away $100 bills to five lucky attendees. And everyone went away with goodie bags filled with products from the sponsors and a coupon booklet for great deals at the show.
A fun-filled evening with others in the nail industry? It's the perfect way to start off a great show!
