I Survived the L&P Services — Thanks to My E-File

I am happy to report that I survived the few days of doing liquid-and-powder rebalances in the salon for #BFFmel! Her clients were the absolute gems that I knew they would be. My timing was not as quick as someone who does it on a regular basis, but I did manage to stay pretty much on schedule.

Part of my success was being able to implement my Manipro Passport into the service for removing length and debulking the nail before applying fresh product. This was my first time using my e-file on a full salon schedule and seeing the difference it can make. I still opted to hand-file my finished work, however I would most certainly consider making the Manipro a permanent part of my rebalance strategy in the future.

It was amazing how much easier it was to use the e-file confidently after all the classes and the practice. I’m still thinking it would be nice to get a few more classes under my belt to really feel like the e-file is a tool I can select as a go-to in a wider variety of services. If you use sanding bands regularly, I highly recommend an easy-off mandrel so you’re not tearing up your fingers trying to get them off your bit.

It was fun to be a guest artist in a salon for a day and basically work in someone else’s shoes. Mel’s clients are awesome and the view out her windows is amazing; however, I am definitely ready to get back to my stellar clients this week and go back to keeping a schedule of services at which I am an expert!
