All Aboard for Nail Camp — Coming to the East Coast This Year Only

by Holly Schippers | March 20, 2019

Nail Camp has long been one of my favorite educational events. The opportunity to network in a unique atmosphere and the abundance of education are invaluable. Not to mention the beauty of the surrounding area.

One of the only complaints I have ever heard about Nail Camp is that it is on the West Coast. This year, you have the unique opportunity to find it in three different locations and one of them is on the East Coast. The East Coast Nail Camp is a one-time event that they don’t intend to repeat, so if you’ve been wanting to check it out, now is the time!

Nail Camp East is in Georgia May 10-13.

Nail Camp Original [aka NW Nail Retreat] is on Vashon Island October 11-14.

Nail Camp West is in Idaho October 25-28.

Whichever date or location works best for you, you’ll find the networking alone is worth going for. Room and board are included in the price — all that remains is for you to get there!

Have a networking event that you love attending? Send me an email at Holly@nailsmag.com as I would love to feature any and all educational events for nail professionals.

Reopening? Know Your Numbers

by Michele Baker

For those of you that like a little data with your info, here is some really interesting information from salon owner Michele Baker in Georgia. Being one of the first states to open left the salon owners to scramble to learn a lot of things on their own and many have been generous in sharing things they have figured out to help make operating in the COVID-19 world more systematic and understandable.
