Show Clients Proof of Sanitation

Could you use some complimentary education in your down time? Hopefully one thing this pandemic will do for our industry is make clients more aware of the differences between salons and a piece of paper that says we happen to be licensed will no longer be sufficient proof of equal or clean service. How about showing clients that you opted to take a class on sanitation and disinfection while you were closed?  I even opted to print my certificate on shimmery cardstock to really make it stand out!

Virox Pro Beauty offers a complimentary online course that won’t take up much of your time. You may have noticed I mention their product HLD8 in some of my posts, it is advanced enough that hospitals use it and state boards have no standard for it because it is a high level disinfectant and they are not accustomed to that in the beauty industry. It is used in the medical field and governed by the FDA and CDC. I digress though, here is the online course if you would like to have a go at it!

by Michele Baker

For those of you that like a little data with your info, here is some really interesting information from salon owner Michele Baker in Georgia. Being one of the first states to open left the salon owners to scramble to learn a lot of things on their own and many have been generous in sharing things they have figured out to help make operating in the COVID-19 world more systematic and understandable.
