Terri Henderson sets nail tips into plastic to make these unusual nai art earrings.

Henderson, who works as a nail technician at Dee’s Wavelength in Portland, Ore., learned in the class how to melt plastic to make jewelry from pins to pendants to earrings. Henderson began playing around with nail art on tips and setting the tips into the plastic, sometimes adding gems.
