When a local TV news crew visited Fior’s Los Angeles manufacturing plant, the reporters were so impressed that they dubbed vice president Noubar Abrahamian, “The Nail King.” KTLA anchorwoman Sharon Tay got the grand tour, and she even received her own custom-mixed color. Producers selected Fior because they were impressed by the time-saving qualities of a 5-in-1 product, says Abrahamian. He also used the precious airtime to unveil two new product lines: MOodieS, a color- changing polish that is sensitive to both body heat and ambient air and Shock, a reflective, metallic line. Though the crew spent the better part of a day at the plant, the finished piece ran less than five minutes.
