What does rapper Foxy Brown have against us? In February, Brown — whose real name is Inga Marchand — was arrested in a Florida beauty supply store on misdemeanor charges of battery and resisting arrest. Brown was applying beauty products in the store’s bathroom when an employee told her the store was closed and she needed to leave, according to a report on AccessHollywood.com.She refused and threw hair glue at that employee, then spat on the man as he called 911. She later struggled with a police officer who responded to the call. In March, she pleaded not guilty to the two charges and at press time was awaiting trial.

This isn’t Brown’s first scuffle involving our industry. In October of last year, she was sentenced to three years’ probation over a 2004 altercation with two employees of a Manhattan nail salon. According to allhiphop.com, Brown pled guilty to misdemeanor assault charges for assaulting two women at Bloomie Nails over a $20 payment for a manicure and pedicure.

Brown allegedly kicked and punched the women, who refused to let her leave the store without paying the $20 bill, reports the website. In addition to the three years’ probation, Brown was sentenced to take anger management courses.

You can see how well that worked out.
