Clooney, Statham, Willis … all big stars in America — and apparently around the world as well. Nail tech, educator, and competitor Ada Booth — owner of Studio Ada Booth in Dniprodzerzhinsk, Ukraine — uses celebrity portraits like these to test her skills and teach her students. “I like to work in a realistic manner when painting and portraits are the most difficult part of painting,” she says. “Celebrity portraits give students the opportunity to discover their talents, and it’s easier to train them with these examples — everyone has favorite actors or favorite movies.”

Of course, Booth has garnered a bit of fame in her own right. She’s participated in nail competitions worldwide and won championships in Russia, Ukraine, Germany, and the United States. She has recently turned her talents to judging competitions, and would like to branch out and start offering courses in different countries.

You can see more of her work on our Nail Art Gallery at www.nailartgallery.nailsmag.com/adabooth.
