Abstract Fantasy French:  created using an abstract design mask (negative piece) along the smile line, then airbrushing free edge color, usually white, to exposed free edge.

Chevron with Color: A pointed “V” shape with accent color.

Fantasy French with Color: a loose translation of a French manicure. After applying a precut fantasy French design mask (positive piece), so that the entire nail is covered except where exposed by the design, airbrush color(s) in exposed area to create the design.

French Crown: a slight variation on the traditional French manicure; smile line to the free edge, but with an added design or graphic that helps to add a little personality to the design.

Inverted Chevron: having the “V” point to the cuticle rather than the free edge.

Inverted Chevron with Diamond:. known as an embellished French; created by positioning diamond mask after removing chevron mask and airbrushing metallic copper through the exposed diamond shape.

Off Center Chevron with Color: a pointed “V” shape, this design is done by applying a precut chevron French mask to one side of the nail (off-center), and airbrushing accent color to the exposed free edge.

Off Center Chevron with Multiple Moves: a pointed “V” shape, this design is done by applying a precut chevron French mask to one side of the nail (off-center), requiring multiple moves, and repositioning closer to the free edge three to four times.

Traditional Chevron French: (also known as a Victorian): rather than a smile line to the free edge, it is a pointed “V” shape.

Traditional French: a traditional French manicure is two colors, one on the nail bed and one on the free edge, usually a white tip and a beige top coat.
