Behind the Scenes with OPI in New Orleans

Get an inside look of the OPI team shooting its latest video on the 2016 New Orleans collection.

OPI gives a glimpse of what its Spring/Summer 2016 collection is all about. Here’s a hint: soulful culture and jazz music. The 12 new shades that range from creamy nudes to vibrant blues are inspired by the city of New Orleans.

When Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, co-founder and brand ambassador for OPI, created the concept for the New Orleans Collection, she knew it had to have a bold personality that matched the city's. “It’s a magical city for inspiration. It’s about fun. It’s about magic. It’s about feeling,” Weiss-Fischmann says. In the video, she discusses the wide range of shades in this collection, including the one she is wearing: I’m Sooo Swamped. She says green will be a trend shade for 2016.

OPI’s latest shoot takes you everywhere from a garden party surrounded by hanging cypress trees to a musical stroll down the French Quarter. Get a behind-the-scenes look at the OPI team's experience in ‘America’s Most Interesting City.’
