NYFW S/S 2018: Deco Miami for PH5

Deco Miami provided minimalist negative space manicures at PH5's NYFW presentation September 6. Simple but bold, negative space and minimalist manicures are on-trend for the fall season.

Deco Miami provided on-trend negative space nails for PH5’s September 6 presentation for NYFW SS18. The presentation’s theme was "artificial flowers." Deco Miami gave models negative space outline nail designs to complement PH5’s signature knitwear garments.

Elina Ogawa led the nail team, which included nail techs Delia Caruso, Evelyn Lim, and Brittania Bell. To create the look, models’ nails were first buffed and filed down to a shorter length, and then topped with Deco Miami’s Dual Top/Base Coat. Manicurists used a thin striper brush to carefully outline each nail with white (Coco), red (Señorita), or metallic navy (Brickell Blue). Zach, the sole male model in the PH5 show, also wore the nail look.

Simple but bold, negative space and minimalist manicures are on-trend for the fall season. They're a great choice for people who feel like their nails chip frequently, since there is less polish on the nail to show chips.
