Inspired by the iconic brands featured in KITH’s Spring/Summer 2019 show, Alicia Torello for Essie created four nail looks that spotlight signature design elements such as Tommy Hilfiger’s flag and Versace’s Greek key border. “It’s a modern and graphic twist on recognizable hallmarks,” says Torello.

How to get the Tommy Hilfiger manicure look:

1. Apply Here to Stay base coat for a smooth polish application.

2. Dip a striping brush in Forever Yummy and create a thick, horizontal stripe of color just past the center of the nail — leaving the tip free of color.

3. Using a striping brush dipped in Booties on Broadway, craft a straight line along the red edge and fill in the tip of the nail.

4. To prevent streaking, wait five minutes for polish to dry and finish with Speed.Setter top coat for high shine.

How to get the Versace manicure look:

  1.  Apply Here to Stay base coat.
  2. Dip a striping brush in Licorice and create the graphic, Greek key pattern just past the center of the nail down toward the tip.
  3. To prevent streaking, wait five minutes for polish to dry and finish with Speed.Setter top coat.

How to get the Greg Lauren manicure look:

  1. Apply Here to Stay base coat.
  2. Next, apply two coats of Booties on Broadway.
  3. Finish with Speed.Setter top coat.

How to get the KITH manicure look:

  1.  Apply Here to Stay base coat.
  2. Next, apply two coats of Licorice on four fingers — leaving thumbs free of color.
  3. Using a detail brush dipped in Licorice, craft a “K” on each thumb.
  4. To prevent streaking, wait five minutes for polish to dry and finish with Speed.Setter top coat.
