Moroccan Mani How-To

Joanne Sorbello of Stone Ridge, N.Y., knows that inspiration is everywhere. Like many techs, she peruses Instagram for inspiration. When she came across a purse from Morocco on NAILS executive editor Beth Livesay’s feed, she knew she could instantly replicate the texture. All it took was gel paint, sequins, and CND Additives.

Steps as follows:
1. Coat nail with blue gel-polish and cure.
2. Draw lines with black gel paint and cure.
3. Fill in sections of nail with black gel paint and cure.
4. Add single red sequins and gold additives to parts of the nail. Apply top coat and cure. Wipe inhibition layer and dream of Morocco.
