Bhutanese nail artist Rinchen Dema recommends these steps to apply jewelry to nails. “You can create this look using any jewelry you have at home,” she says.
1. Use any necklace, bracelet, or chains (including the clasp) for these jewelry nails. Attach the clasp to one end of the jewelry. Apply a base coat. Apply glitter polish on a sponge and dab it on the nails. Apply top coat.
2. Using a wire, create a small spiral/S-shaped eye with a wider base for securing it on the nail.
3. Use nail glue to attach the S-shaped wire to the nail. Fasten the jewelry on the nail using the hook and eye clasp. To apply chains, cut them to the desired length and use nail glue to attach them on the nail.
