Tracey Lee’s Online Education Platform Brings Nail Classes to You

NAILS Next Top Nail Artist Season 4 winner Tracey Lee has launched Beauty2trs, a new website designed to connect global nail educators with students and professionals online. Named because it aims to connect students with their favorite beauty tutor, the site lets students find classes from their favorite instructors, or find talented new certified nail instructors.

The website gives certified nail educators the opportunity to upload a class for students to purchase. Students can view the available classes, purchase those they’re interested in, and keep purchased classes in their personal library for one year. Both prerecorded classes and live classes are available, and students will have the opportunity to ask questions to the instructor via a chat function during the live classes. Live classes will also be available for students to review for one year after the live broadcast.

As a nail educator since 2004, Lee understands the importance of continuing to improve skills in the nail industry. “That meant travelling extensively to get the education that I wanted,” she explains. Knowing that not every nail tech can afford the time and money necessary to get the best nail training, she started Beauty2trs to make it easier for beauty professionals to get high-quality education from instructors they might not be able to see otherwise. “Not everyone gets it after one demonstration,” says Lee. “They may need to see and try a technique several times before they fully understand it.” That’s why she made sure Beauty2trs classes are available for a full year to rewatch, meaning students can retry the class as many times as necessary until they master the technique.

Lee sees the website as an opportunity to put the spotlight on talented instructors, too. “Not all awesome nail pros are gurus at social media, so not everyone gets the exposure that they deserve,” she says. “There is just so much talent out there, and this is a great way to share it with other nail professionals.”
