Christina Jahn, head of the marketing department at Star Nail International, recently put her organizational talents to work with the girls of the Santa Clarita Soccer Club. She helped the coach, a cancer survivor, to give back to other women by enlisting the girls of the club to donate their ponytails to a foundation called Pantene Beautiful Lengths.

Pantene Beautiful Lengths was created to bring people together and donate beautiful healthy hair to create free wigs for women and girls who have lost their hair due to cancer treatments. To make one wig requires six ponytails of healthy, non-chemically-treated hair. A natural-looking wig allows a woman or girl to look in the mirror and see a familiar face while she fights to regain a sense of normalcy in her life.

During May, the girls donated eight inches of their hair. As a thank you, they received Cuccio Naturalé Pomegranate & Fig body butters from the company. Log on to www.beautifullengths.com to find out how you can help give a special gift to a woman struggling with cancer.
