For more than 10 years Essie Cosmetics has supported the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF) and was once again pleased to participate in the Hampton’s spectacular Super Saturday event on July 31. The Hollywood-style function was held at Nova’s Ark Project in Water Mill, N.Y., and was co-hosted by Donna Karan, Kelly Ripa, and Ariel Foxman of InStyle. The Essie manicure booth was a spectacular hit with Super Saturday shop-a-holics who were anxious to sit down for a little rest, relaxation, and pampering. Essie’s team of manicurists — which included Irina Matveeva, Sonia Ullaguari, Dana Hunt, and Christine Carollo — indulged the guests with polish from Essie’s new 2010 Spring, Resort, and Summer collections as well as long-standing Essie favorites.

“We are so pleased to support the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund in this important cause,” says Essie Weingarten, president and co-founder of Essie Cosmetics. “The OCRF does a fantastic job in rallying up a huge group of supporters and we are proud to be a part of it.” The event raised approximately $3.3 million for OCRF.
