Despite her demanding schedule, salon owner and Team Creative member Tiffany Greco joined us at Sangria — a Hermosa Beach, Calif., bar and  estaurant — to give model Tonya Salvant the perfect party pedicure. And what a party it was. Our model went through a couple of shoe changes before we decided on the strappy silver-hued sandals you see on our cover. After Tiffany polished Tonya’s toenails a fun, festive red (using Creative’s Decadence), it was really time to boogie down. Tonya climbed on top of the bar in full party mode and did her thing.

A nail technician at Hair Addix, in Carlsbad, Calif., Tiffany got her nail license in 1985 and has had a 10-year relationship with Creative Nail Design. Much to her credit, she’s been a member of Team Creative since its inception three years ago. It’s to her credit because Team Creative embers are chosen based on the feedback from class and show attendees,  industry employers (whether they’re distributors, students, or other industry leaders), and most importantly their peers.

In a word, says Tiffany, Team Creative’s focus is education. “We are committed to providing the most comprehensive advanced education program available for nails in today’s market — and to having a lot of fun while doing it,” she says.

Did we mention her demanding schedule? “I usually travel for Team Creative two or three weekends a month,” says Tiffany. “I may not have a day off for a month at a time because I work in Creative’s R&D lab on Tuesdays, in the salon on Wednesdays, and I recently started working on the Creative hotline on Thursdays.”

As a single parent, Tiffany keeps her travel closer to home than some of her globetrotting team members. “I have seen the most beautiful places here in the U.S.,” she says. “I did go to the Ukraine, though, and taught a two-day course for some talented nail techs. The language of nails is universal!”

The best part of being on Team Creative, says Tiffany, is the team aspect. “Through this group of powerful women I have been able to learn many things about teaching and about life," she says. “I have had many occasions to learn from them while we are on the road, and when I see how a group responds to them I am in awe.”
