G Elizondo of Las Vegas creates fun, honeycomb nails

Nail tech G Elizondo was happy to show Las Vegas what great nails are all about. She appeared on the beauty segment of locally televised the "More" show to do nails to match the fantasy/fun theme. One set of nails was done using fimo cane fruits; the fruits on the nails matched the fruit-themed hair design (colored hair extensions formed into fruit shapes) on the model. The other set was a more down-to-earth bee design with a natural honeycomb look (shown). "The embedded bee was also made of fimo clay," says Elizondo, who works at D’Hair to be Different in Las Vegas. "I also handpainted dots on them to make the bees look as if they were flying from nail to nail." The model’s hair was done in a beehive style. The models were Kalina Fox and G’s own daughter Jade Guevara (right, in the photo).
