March can be a tough month for football-loving families, especially for the die-hard Sunday males. So to help fill the football void, offer clients these special Super Bowl sets in their hubby’s favorite team and see if you can “go for two” on pricing.

Doreen Begay of Kayenta, Ariz., explains how she makes these NFL nails with embedded team logos. (You can replicate these for any sport or hobby that your client is into.)

“It’s very important to consult with your client and give her ideas of what you can do, such as choosing a tip, what color glitter to use, and a variety of NFL images to choose from. I always start off by prepping the nail, lightly filing, and sanitizing.

Then I download NFL images from the Internet and downsize them to nail size. I usually save the images to a file for later use. I use Kodak photo paper to copy images on, then cut out each image. It’s good to have a variety of sizes.

Choose the desired NFL color for the tips. Then apply the glitter to all 10 nails. I like to use gel glue to hold the nail art in place.

I encase the whole nail with a clear acrylic, then shape and file the nail. I finish with Young Nails Finish Gel.”
