Holiday Decorations Stay Put Through the New Year And Beyond

Michelle De Nicola, owner of Michelle’s Nails in Redondo Beach, Calif., has found a practical year-round use for her holiday decorations. After the holidays passed, she left a few gold Christmas tree ornaments hanging from the salon’s brass ceiling lights to show clients and nail technicians that air is adequately circulating throughout the salon. “I had one nail technician complain that there wasn’t any ventilation in the salon,” says De Nicola. “The ceiling lights are brass designer lights so the gold balls blend right in with them and with the salon’s decor in general.” De Nicola says other salon owners may simply want to hang paper .streamers or non-seasonal decorations from the ceiling to show that the air in the salon is sufficiently circulating.
