The New York State Nail Technicians Organization has announced development of a program for continuing education in which the hours of education received through the organization will be recorded, recognized by the state of New York, and used to indicate the individual’s level of excellence.
The program was designed for technicians and salon owners, to educate them in the most modern and efficient manner so they can keep up with the rapidly expanding field of nail care. Different educational programs have been developed for all levels, from beginners to advanced.
In addition, there are seminars for salon owners who are not practicing nail technicians, lectures for clients and special training for educators, beginning and advanced.
At the same time, the organization continues to represent the nail care profession at all levels of government, proposing, supporting and promoting favorable legislation. These are just a few of the organization’s many objectives.
