Carlsbad-based Creative Nail Design, Inc. has selected Arnold.Buck.Inc. to handle marketing, advertising, design and public relations, according to Jim Nordstrom. Nordstrom is president of Creative Nail Design, a manufacturer and distributor of sculptured nails and related products.

“Arnold.Buck.Inc. will oversee the strategic planning that will strengthen the company’s ongoing commitment to the salon professional. Creative Nail Design, Inc., sells nail products exclusively through distributors to nail artists in salons,” said Nordstrom. He added that Arnold.Buck.Inc. will also complete a marketing audit and marketing plan to evaluate how the company can better serve the salon professional.

“Another important area that Arnold.Buck.Inc. will be involved with is our education division,” said Jan Nordstrom Bragulla, vice president.

According to Bragulla, Creative Nail Design, Inc. has taken an educational approach to marketing. The company has 100 educational consultants who teach nail artists the proper application of products.

“To assist our consultants as well as the nail artists, Arnold.Buck.Inc. is developing a workbook with complete instructions for all our products,” she continued. “In addition, the agency will redesign existing packaging and design packaging for all new products.”

“Our design division will be responsible for creative packaging for more than 100 products,” said David Arnold, the agency’s chief executive officer.

Creative Nail Design, Inc., which has 120 distributors in all 50 states as well as representatives in Europe, Australia and Canada, has had an average sales increase of 70 percent over the past three years.
