When it comes to name recognition, Marilyn Monroe is a perennial style icon, no doubt. This fall, that style will be translated into a series of a nail salons, appropriately by a company named Marilyn Monroe Spas. “Matching the allure and glamour of Marilyn Monroe with the beauty and spa industry is a natural fit,” says co-chairman and CEO Niki Bryan.

The Nail Boutiques (for which the company was scouting final locations as of press time) will feature “signature Marilyn Monroe experiences and colors that will allow any of our guests to discover their inner Marilyn,” Bryan told us. “These will range from her concept of natural beauty to the glamorous Hollywood style for which she was known.” Manicures and pedicures will be the Nail Boutiques’ focus, and though the menu was still being finalized, Bryan told us to expect trends, plus Marilyn Signature colors and services that honor her persona.

In addition to the Nail Boutiques, Marilyn Monroe Spas will be launching two other concepts to adapt to different communities’ needs. One is the Glamour Rooms (rendering shown), which will add hair, make-up, and select spa treatments to the nail menu; the second is the Luxury Spas, which will be located in resorts, luxury hotels, and cruise ships. The chain also plans to launch a line of products (including nail care), which will be available for purchase within the spas and online.

If you want to channel your inner Marilyn by getting a job at one of these Nail Boutiques, then visit www.marilynmonroespas.com for more information. According to Bryan, the company is looking for techs “whose core personality traits match our signature gracious hospitality.” Franchise opportunities may also be available later.
