You may have digitized your contact lists, but don’t throw away that old rolodex quite yet. Lina Dinh of Ly-nah’s Nail Designz in Beloit, Wis., turned her rolodex into a mini nail design album, which has increased her nail art sales.

“I am a big scrapbooker, and I’ve seen several YouTube scrapbooking tutorials on how to make mini photo albums from rolodexes. I thought it was a perfect idea to use at our nail salon and easy to look at.

“I purchased a Polaroid Zink mini printer that creates 2-in. x 3-in. stick-on photos that fit perfectly. (It’s portable and receives pictures by bluetooth from a cell phone.)

“All of my clients love the easy access to browse through it and see what nail designs I had come up with. And since it’s a rolodex, it’s so easy to switch photos in and out.”
