On Track with Tracking Results

Wow, it’s so exciting to talk with Adrienne now — just a few weeks ago she was ready to throw in the towel, and now her business seems to be taking off! This past week proved that restrategizing some of the simplest things can make a big difference.

 

First thing to report: nine new clients last week (six from personal referrals, three from promo cards). Her service goals are continuing to climb; clients are trying some new services. The foot detox has been a huge hit. The personal trainer she gave a service to has been a tremendous referral source. I'm always asking myself, “Who could become a great new referral source for me?” Sometimes referrals can come from someone you'd never expect. Think of everyone you know, make a list, try it out for 30 days, and most of all, track your results.

 

Adrienne began tracking last week. Not only does it tell you a story of exactly how your day or week went, but for her it also gave her a little encouragement. As you see improvements, it motivates you further. How many of you at the end of the week not only have no idea what you really made, but more importantly, how you made it? Who sent those referrals? How many services were natural versus enhancements? How many add-ons? Tips? Pre-booking? Begin with a daily and weekly goal and check each day where you stand. If you wait until the end of the week or month there's no chance to restrategize.

 

One area to work on for Adrienne is retail. When choices are limited, sales stay down. Think outside the box. Retail does not only need to be home maintenance. Candles, accessories, jewelry, etc. can bring big dollars into a business. Gift giving can generate new clients. Make sure the gift item has something to tell the receiver where it came from.

 

Well, we're off to a great start. I can't wait to see how this week continues!
