Foot Filing Tips

by NAILS Magazine | October 30, 2008 | Bookmark +

I just learned an interesting foot filing technique from Jill Wright, of Jill Wright’s Spa For Nails in Bowling Green Ky. She says putting several drops of cuticle oil on a coarse fingernail file and filing over the callus helps keep feet soft between pedicures. The moisturizers in the cuticle oil work well on the callus to rehydrate and replenish, and buffing the oil into the callus removes it quite easily. Wright's clients are strong advocates of this technique, saying it's a quick and easy way to keep callus under control, especially becaues it works on dry feet, making it a convenient at-home service. Do you have any callus filing tips of your own. Let us know in the Feedback section.
