New Year's Resolutions

by NAILS Magazine | January 5, 2010 | Bookmark +

I resolve to renew all my old resolves, and add a few that are new. I resolve to keep them as long as I can, what more can a poor girl do?

Wikipedia describes resolutions as follows:

“A New Year’s resolution is a commitment that an individual makes to a project or the reforming of a habit, often a lifestyle change that is generally interpreted as advantageous. Some examples include resolutions to donate to the poor more often, to become more assertive, or to become more environmentally responsible.”

OK, really this time.

  • I resolve to pack my nail products in such away as to not blow up in my suitcase (more environmentally responsible).

  • I resolve not to blow my temper at security check points in airports (donate to those poor TSA agents).

  •  I resolve to blow away the competition. Nail competition, that is (become more assertive).

Well, that ought to just about do it. What are your resolutions? Do you want to try out a nail competition this year? Leave me a comment in Feedback, so we can all share our resolutions.
