Happy Anniversary, Entity!

The anniversary cake, a blend of vanilla and mousse-like chocolate, was stunningly pretty.
As a Long Beach resident, I’ve been to Cohiba Nightclub & Cigar Lounge before, but I’ve never been there when it’s private nail party night! That was the scene for Entity Beauty’s fifth anniversary party on Sunday. After a long day at ISSE and a trade show day yet to come, everyone — Entity employees, educators, and other notable names in the nail industry — just wanted to let loose, get some drinks, and get out on the dance floor.
Around 9:40 p.m., a beautiful anniversary cake was wheeled out and Entity’s Vicki Heller took center stage as she thanked everyone for their part in getting the company to where it is today. They’ve accomplished a lot! Here’s a quick look at the company’s past five years:
September: Entity Beauty forms
February: Couture Nail Studio products launch at ISSE Long Beach
May: Couture Nail Studio expands to include larger packaging and new files
October: Expands distribution into to U.K. and five European countries
January: Expands distribution into Asia and the Netherlands
February: Expands acrylic product line to introduce prep products
March: Expands distribution into 23 Eastern European and Scandinavian countries
September: Introduces Success Sculpting Liquid
January: Introduces Nanovive Skin Revival System
June: Introduces Enamel Collection
October: Introduces Rainforest Body Couture
August: Introduces Entity One Gel Technology product line
April: Nanovive and Rainforest featured on Bravo's Life and Leisure Television
August: Expands distribution into Canada
Vicki Heller gives a short (very enthusiastic) speech during the cake cutting.
Some Entity employees and educators take a break from the dance floor to pose for this shot.
Entity educator Cyndi Van and I can’t resist a shot by the sparkly “5” that graced Entity’s trade show booth.
Make sure to wish Entity a happy anniversary at the next show!
