Take This Gel and Soak It

Dear Every-Nail-Product-Manufacturer-Left-That-I-Have-Not-Purchased-Soak-Off-Gel-Polish-From:

I regret to inform you that I am no longer accepting new product lines. All positions have been filled and I am currently happy with the selection of soak-off gel polishes I have acquired in the last few months. Please accept my condolences, as I will not be purchasing your line in the near future. You should have gotten it to market before your competition, or, at least, given me a firm launch date to look forward to in order to secure your product line on my service menu.

If I change my mind or require yet another product line, I will keep you in mind. Thank you ...

The new hotness is, as we all know, soak-off gel polish. I waited what I thought was a reasonable amount of time on one manufacturer to introduce gels in a full line of polish colors, but my sales rep couldn't even give me a date to look forward to.

In the meanwhile, I didn't have time to wait around on a product that might be introduced in a month, or might not manifest for another year. Other products launched and I had to stay competitive. I can't let every other salon in town beat me to the punch.

So I kept my eyes and ears open and invested in a line of gel polishes — two lines, actually. And then one more.

I'm done. At least for the time being. There's only so much money and space I can dedicate to this stuff.

Meanwhile, more companies are launching their gel polish lines. Including the one I was waiting on. I feel bad, but I have to put my foot down somewhere and the last line I bought was it.
