Frustrated because industry networking groups were either too expensive or out of the area, nail tech Alica Best decided to create her own group. Called the Society of Nail Technicians, the group meets monthly via a conference call and provides tele-seminars to members. “This way we can share ideas, have industry educators speak directly to members, and connect with other techs to grow our businesses,” says Best. “The group is great because members can be anywhere and access the meetings. Whether you are a long-time professional or just starting out in the field, the Society of Nail Technicians is here to provide you with the resources, support, and educational opportunities that will help you grow in our great field.”
Meetings are scheduled for the following dates:
January 10, 2011
February 7, 2011
March 7, 2011
April 4, 2011
May 2, 2011
June 6, 2011
