Blueprint of a First Year

Cinco de Mayo Celebration

by NAILS Magazine | May 4, 2011 | Bookmark +

In honor of Lucy's heritage, we are having a Cinco de Mayo celebration on May 6. (We know it should be May 5 but the 6th falls on a Friday and that's the day we wanted it to be on.) Lucy and I will be closing the salon for the day to cook all sorts of festive foods from Mexico. The celebration will be that evening and our clients and business colleagues are all getting excited about the event. We'll be sure to post pictures when it's over.

Regarding Tickled Pink's overall new direction of catering to kids, I must say I didn't see that coming when I first opened last year. But I'm going with the flow and have been just amazed and thrilled to see how things are turning out. It has been fun and I've never enjoyed this industry as much as I do now.
