No Time for Feet

On behalf of Rachael and myself, thank you Jill for the Kudos.  We have both worked very hard to implement some of these suggestions and it is very rewarding to see it paying off.  I am super proud of our accomplishments and that I am helping her to achieve this kind of success. She is ecstatic that she is doing so well and is always striving to improve. I can’t wait to see what her numbers look like in a couple of months.

I am looking forward to your next topic.  Even though my numbers are very good, I have to credit most of that to the extensive artificial nail clientele that I have.  For instance in May I did a total of 120 sets of hands, and only 23 pedicures.  I know exactly what you are talking about when you talk about being gridlocked.  Being so booked with fills that I have no time to fit in pedicure services is the biggest hurdle I have to being balanced in my work.  I have figured out how to minimize the wear on my body, to pre-book them for pedicure services, and to upsell services to my artificial nail clients to increase the total service dollars coming in, but struggle with balancing out my books. Many of these guests are standing appointments that I have done for five or more years. I guess that it is a compliment of sorts that I am very good at enhancement services, however, I know that I can’t keep this up forever.

So, Jill, I am anxious to try your suggestions for balancing my books to see if I can find a better balance to my schedule and get out of the gridlock.
