Link Love: 9/9/11

Are any of you at Fashion Week this week? We can't wait to see the amazing nails that come out of this season's event!

Speaking of Fashion Week, the first blog we'd like to share Link Love with is CND's Fashion Week blog. It'll keep you up to date on all of the designers this company is working with at its 15th (!) Fashion Week doing stylish nails.

We emphatize with salon ManiPediCutie! in Hermosa Beach, Calif., who posts about a mom who canceled her 12-year-old daughter's mani-pedi appointment because the salon has a policy not to cut cuticles on children ages 12 and under. This is one instance in which the customer is not always right. Read about the cuticle as the front line against infection here.

Nail Designers found a salon that has an eco-chic chandelier made from...empty nail polish bottles! It is amazing. We plan to send an e-mail to the salon, Well Polished in Katy, Texas, to compliment them on this cool idea.

The left brain of The Beauty Brains tackles the question: What's the best product for brittle nails?
