Creating an Almond-Shaped Nail

by Holly Schippers | March 15, 2012 | Bookmark +

Filing nails seems like an easy enough thing to do, however there are some shapes that pose more of a challenge than others. One such shape is the almond. I’m not talking about your Grandma’s style of almond that dug down into the sidewalls and tended to look like a lopsided dagger so she didn’t have to shorten her nails. I’m talking about the sleek, sophisticated almond shape that gives nails the illusion of slim length. As visual learners a video seemed the easiest way to share this technique to make the almond nail a little less elusive, hope it helps!
