We’re digging this cool hand-focused video from T, The New York Times Styles Magazine.
When Chanel’s creative director for makeup Peter Philips wanted to showcase Chanel’s latest polish collection, he contacted London filmmaker Ruth Hogben, and the two came up with the inspiration to use sign language.
The video shows Dutch model, Saskia De Brauw signing some of Coco Chanel’s most famous quotes. Her fingernails show off the latest Chanel polish colors. The nails were down by London nail tech Marian Newman. And the colors are Chanel’s Attraction, Tentation, Frisson, and Distraction.
We know Chanel is not a professional brand. It’s just awesome to see a nail-related video on The New York Times.
