American International Industries (A.I.I.), the parent company of brands China Glaze, Ardell Lashes, It’s So Easy Nail Art, and more, offered pampering services to eight deserving young ladies and their mothers at the Wish Upon A Teen Mother/Daughter Spa Day. The event took place on Monday, April 30, at the Sonya Dakar Skin Clinic in Beverly Hills, Calif., and hosted teens battling cancer from the Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA. The day of pampering was held by nonprofit Wish Upon A Teen.
Members of the Stila PRO team offered makeup applications, keeping a variety of Ardell lash styles on hand.
China Glaze brights and neons were the shades of choice at the manicure station, where both teens and moms sat to enjoy a hand treatment. After selecting from the numerous color choices, the manicurists provided hand massages, polish applications, and even nail art.
Zebra stripes were popular with the teens as the manicurists showed them how to use It’s So Easy Stripe Rites to create the look. Glitter polish, like China Glaze’s Snow Globe, on an accent nail was also high in demand. Finished with China Glaze Fast Forward Top Coat, the teens and their moms left with shiny manicures and huge smiles.
Wish Upon a Teen is a nonprofit that provides resources and opportunities to teenagers who are recovering from traumatic experiences in the Los Angeles and Detroit areas through creative and interactive social and educational events, allowing teens the opportunity to rediscover and rebuild their self-esteem as they continue the healing process.
