Seeing Is Believing -- Show Your Clients Results

by Holly Schippers | August 30, 2012 | Bookmark +

Have you ever heard the phrase “seeing is believing”? How true do you feel it is? Do you think it matters to you when you see things for yourself or to clients to see for themselves? How many of you have a Nail Notebook or similar display method of showing them different things — before and after enhancement photos, before and after proper home care photos, and more?

I get asked by techs and clients alike if having their Shellac blinged, foiled, or given Additives attitude will inhibit the wear time or adhesion. It is easy to say no, as long as things are sealed in with top coat there should be no problems, but why should anyone trust what I say? If you don't know me from Adam it would be asking a lot for you to just take my word for it. However, if I personally put the product to the test and had photos to show for it how would you feel then?

We like taking pictures of freshly done nails, but how about taking pictures upon a client’s return to show enhancements that didn't lift or a gel-polish that didn't chip. Then seeing results of your work becomes believing in what you can do! To conclude my wear-test on the nails I did with foil, glitter, and a CND Additive, I wore them for five weeks then took a "proof" photo so no one had to just take my word for it. If you missed it there was a blog with the how-to video for those that like the design.

Give your clients something to believe in and start sharing those photos that help them with seeing and believing!
