Two Charlotte, N.C.-based salon owners have joined forces to form QC Nail Squad where they’ll be hosting “Nailathons” every other month. Kianna Baskerville, owner of Siditty Kitty, and Wanda Belk, owner of Zoe Nails at Ayrsley, decided they wanted to start the Nailathons to meet the needs of clients who can’t make appointments during normal business hours. The Nailathon runs 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. the next morning. (The next event is being held on July 2 at Zoe Nails at Ayrsley.)

“The Nailathon partnership is a great idea to unify professional, dependable and loyal manicurists. We hope to reach anyone who wants quality nail care service after conventional salon hours. It's also ideal for a girls' night out,” said Belk.

The goal is to make these occasions the new “it” party for ladies then move the team to larger scale events where QC Nail Squad are needed to perform services.

For people in the Charlotte area who are interested in becoming a part of the team, you can e-mail qcnailsquad@gmail.com or call Wanda Belk at (704) 697-1947..
