Week 11: Field Trips and Visitors

This week was an exciting one. One of the owners from Bellini Beauty Bar came in to talk to us about their business and upcoming plans. I actually follow them on social media and I look forward to their updates. I love the fact that they cater to all ages. Everyone looks to be having a blast, and from what I learned, it sounds like a great place to work.
Thursday, we went on a field trip. Se Spa in downtown San Diego was having an open house and collecting Toys for Tots. Classy, fun, and relaxing! Appetizers and drinks were served. We were able to try out their services. I got a much-needed eye treatment and a massage. Let me just say: that massage was only 10 minutes and I was completely relaxed and ready to take a nap. Can’t wait to book a full hour.
On Friday I had a client come in for a Shellac mani and spa pedicure. This woman was embarrassed of her toes. When this happens I find that making conversation about other things and gushing over how the polish looks with her skin tone changes everything. I love this industry!
