#ABSChicago: Essie Launches Professional Gels

Essie, best known for its tried and true polish collection, expands the Essie brand with Essie's new Professional LED Gel System. The pro-vitamin-infused gel formula in Essie's LED Gel System is rich with pro-vitamins B5 and E has a base coat that is part polish, part gel. Keratin particles are suspended in the gel, making it durable and the perfect foundation to help fortify and hydrate nails.

The color polish has the thinnest viscosity on the market, says the company, as well as a 400-bristle professional brush. Cap the service with the Essie Gel top coat to complete a durable wear. Essie has 36 of their most popular polish colors in gel form, 24 new colors, and more on the way. Click here for step-by-step instruction on using Essie Gel.

With a new gel line comes a new curing lamp. Essie’s new LED lamp has pre-determined grooves in the removable base of the lamp to be sure a client’s hand sits perfectly in relation to the lights positioned above each nail. Essie Gel color layers cure for 30 seconds and the top coat cures for 60 seconds in the lamp.

The company has spent a lot of time developing Essie Gel, and when used and removed properly, there should be no damage to the nail.
