Take Your Nail Eyes on a Trip and Just Chill

After so many years of traveling, I have learned to occasionally take a day or two in a fun place to just unwind between meetings or at the end of a class day. I had some time while in California recently to unwind a bit and just enjoy the scenery instead of passing it by in a cab between the airport and the hotel. It was so much fun!  It seemed a shame not to share. If you ever make it out near Dana Point, I strongly suggest that you visit Dana Wharf and go whale watching.

When spyhopping, the whale rises and holds a position partially out of the water, often exposing its entire rostrum and head. It is visually akin to a human treading water. Spyhopping is controlled and slow, and can last for minutes at a time if the whale is sufficiently inquisitive about whatever (or whomever) it is viewing. While on this particular trip, a mother swimming with her calf decided to check us out! I have a short video clip, it was amazing to see them swim and play in their natural environment.

This was an unforgettable experience with two hours on the boat to appreciate the ocean along with nature and her majesty. Take your #naileyes along with you and just chill!!
