The second location of Advance Beauty College relocated to a new home in Laguna Hills, Calif. and the grand opening celebration was held on Saturday. Brother and sister team Tam and Linh Nguyen are continuing the legacy of ABC, which was founded by their parents, by offering esthetician and cosmetology programs in a new 9,000-sqaure-foot facility. They have plans to offer courses in nails and massage in the future.
Community members including Laguna Hills Chamber of Commerce and student supporters gathered at the facility for the official ribbon cutting and a dove release ceremony.
Those in attendance enjoyed complimentary services including a braid bar, face mapping, chair massages, face painting, a photo booth, and of course, a nail bar.
Advance Beauty College partners David Ngo of Skyline Beauty Supply and distributor of Color Club and David Anthony of Valentino Body Pure and Whale Spa, presented the campus with a custom three-person manicure table with a built in filtration system. Anthony says ABC is the first beauty school to be equipped with the nail technology.
As a student at ABC Garden Grove, I got invited to spend the day behind the nail bar and offered polish changes and nail art to 14 clients.
Here’s a look at some of the nail art I executed using Color Club, the line of polish that ABC Laguna Hills retails to clients.
